Young At Heart & Lunch Club
Young at Heart is a vibrant social group for the over 60’s to make friends and enjoy socialising.
Our Young at Heart project and Lunch Club aims to overcome the feeling of isolation. We provide a weekly drop in, where members can pop in, meet friends or make new ones over a cup of tea and a slice of cake.
Folk are often happy just to catch up with each other whilst others like the challenge of a board game. Occasional speakers are organised on a range of interesting topics.
For those with energy to burn, we also host weekly exercise classes led by a qualified instructor aimed specifically at the older generation. And when the weather’s warmer we organise day trips to places of interest.
